But one thing is clear: a troubled and restless, poor and frustrated populace of Cairo woke up on the morning of Groundhog Day and saw the shadow of President Hosni Mubarak, the dictator whose resignation they have been calling for over the past few days, stretching out across the land, according to Reuters, in the form of bussed-in pro-Mubarak supporters and patriotic songs and messages being played on government radio and television. His speech Tuesday night had promised seven more months (presidents are sworn in days after the election) of Mubarak rule...
