AP - In a Dec. 13 obituary for Richard Holbrooke, The Associated Press reported erroneously that he had reflected on his role as President Barack Obama's special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan in a March 2008 article in The Washington Post. Holbrooke did not become Obama's special envoy until January 2009.
