Posters featuring Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker with a gun target over his face dot the landscape in Madison. Today, 37 Democratic elected officials from Indiana copied the antics of their Wisconsin counterparts and fled the state to stall bill hearings. |

State house officials, expecting an over-capacity crowd moved the third committee hearing to the Capital Theatre inside the Riffe Center next door. The fervor surrounding the proposed collective bargaining bill drew so many spectators that shifts were organized to permit as many people as possible to have a turn to hear lawmakers inside the 900-seat theater. Tensions between public employees union members and supporters over the cost saving bill continue to increase as the bill moves toward a vote. |
