It baffles the mind how proving you are who you say you are and currently live in Ohio is a bad thing. The left-leaning American Civil Liberties Union and the League of Women Voters feel the issue is driven by a devious ulterior motive to suppress voter turnout. Senate Bill 148 would mean voters who show up with proper identification would have to vote provisionally. Votes cast in this manner are held for 10 days for verification.
